I really just want to thank you for everything. When I say everything I do mean everything. You are so appreciated, dear. I’ve never been so respected or taken so seriously by someone before. You have shown me what genuine love is. You have shown me what trust is. I LOVE you. I am IN love with you. We’ve gotten so comfortable with each other and we’ve done a whole lot of “firsts” with each other and what we have, well, it’s so incredibly special and dear to me.
Admittedly, things have gotten tough. With you going away for college, we stepped into uncharted grounds. You and I had to take what we’ve learned about each other, and apply it to this new situation. Let me tell you, we’re learning about each other every day still. We’re still communicating well, we’re still flirting with one another, and we’re still so madly in love. Sure it hasn’t been such a long time yet, but I want to remind you that I’m in this with you, and I know for a fact you’re sure as hell in this with me.
I want to thank you for putting up with me. It’s been hard but I really want to say thank you for being there for me when I need you the most, even from so many miles away and even with all that responsibility. You still manage to throw a smile on my face, reassure me that everything is going to be okay, and that this is really what we want.
We are in this together, for the same goal. Four years isn’t such a long time. Especially when we break it down into sections of 3 months at a time. We can do this, we already are. You are worth every single second, every single minute, hour, month, year, every single tear drop, and every single night spent alone. You are worth it all. I am such a lucky lucky boy and I’m glad we’re doing what we’re doing. We’re building each other up.
I’ll be here waiting, princess. With arms wide open, holding your heart and only yours. And once you come back, we can look each other deeply in the eyes and know that we’re ready to step out of that charted territory, eager to move into the next.
I love you, Veronica. You’re my everything.
What an appropriate song for you guys
