The Women of Asgarda | In the Ukraine, a country where females are victims of sexual trafficking and gender oppression, a new tribe of empowered women is emerging. Calling themselves the “Asgarda”, the women seek complete autonomy from men. Residing in the Carpathian Mountains, the tribe is comprised of 150 women of varying ages, primarily students, led by 30 year-old Katerina Tarnouska. Reviving the tribal traditions of the Scythian Amazons of ancient Greek mythology, the Asgarda train in martial arts, taught by former Soviet karate master, Volodymyr Stepanovytch, and learn life skills and sciences in order to become ideal women.

This is amazing. Every woman/girl should learn a martial art.

Text 23 May Xbox One

I may be a little bit of a Microsoft console fanboy, but I’m getting pretty tired of hearing people complain about how the presenters of XB1 didn’t showcase the games for their new console. Yeah, so they didn’t involve it in their presentation.Am I the only one who wanted to know what was different about their newest console? I love the Xbox 360, but since the PS3 has come out my 360 (the ORIGINAL model) has become pretty outdated. I love that you can skype on it, i love the voice recognition, i love the hand-gesture recognition, and i love the multitask. i’m not too big on the software and micro parts that are involved because i don’t really understand that but still i’m pretty much aware of their improvements on their newest product. There are some things that i disagree with in the XB1, but I do like it regardless.

In the case of games, I will wait for E3. E3. What’s E3’s job? To showcase games. That is where the XB1 will shine. I remain loyal to the halo franchise that (once) made xbox live the dominant form of online gaming, and I look forward to the reclaimer trilogy.

Don’t get me wrong, the PS4 looks fantastic. I wish I could have both, but my point is…there really isn’t enough information to determine which console is better than the other. There isn’t enough information to say that XB1 sucks (unless you’re a Sony Playstation super fanboy and will talk shit about Xbox(es) regardless) and vice versa for PS4.

As far as I’m concerned, the XB1 can do the same things the PS4 can. If not more- but then again i still have to read up on the PS4 a little more.
